    Descriptive info: Ingredients.. Enough flour to coat the abalone.. 2 lemons sliced into wedges.. 2 Tbls butter.. 12 60- 70mm sized abalone.. 12 shells; cleaned.. Instructions.. Take prepared abalone meat and coat with flour.. On medium high heat place 2 Tbls of butter on skillet.. Wait until butter starts to bubble and then quickly place your abalone meat on the skillet.. Cook 20 to 30 seconds on each side and squeeze lemon juice over abalone towards the last 20 seconds of cooking abalone.. They are done when a fork goes into meat easily.. Place the cooked meat back into shells and garnish with more lemon wedges.. Serve immediately.. With the  ...   first 4 ingredients in a bowl.. Marinade the prepared abalone for 10 minutes.. Take abalone and cover in flour.. On a medium high heat pan add a knob of butter till it bubbles and add the abalone.. Use the fast cook method to cook the abalone and place on a plate.. Return the marinade to the pan and reduce to a thickened sauce.. Pour over the abalone and serve immediately.. Soy sauce with sesame oil, garlic, lemon and spring onion sauce.. 4 tbls soy sauce.. 1 tbls sesame oil.. 1 garlic; minced fine.. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl..     Descriptive info: 12 60-70mm sized abalone; whole in shell.. 2 cups dry white wine.. 2 Tbls chopped fresh fennel.. 1 onion roughly chopped.. 1 bay leaf.. 1 carrot diced.. Place whole abalone in a casserole dish with two cups of white wine, fennel, onion, bay leaf and carrot.. Place in a 350 degree F oven for one hour until abalone are tender.. Remove from the dish and separate the meat from the shell.. Discard gonads  ...   chowder recipe).. On a medium high heated skillet place 2 Tbls of butter.. When the butter begins to bubble place the abalone meat on the skillet and brown on both sides.. This should only take no more than 20 seconds a side..     Descriptive info: 12 60-70mm abalone cooked in wine and sliced or chopped into pieces.. 1 onion, diced.. 2 carrots, diced.. A bunch of asparagus spears; cut in diagonal pieces.. 2 cups of dry white wine.. 4 cups of milk.. 1 cup fish stock; from recipe above.. 1 small onion; roughly chopped.. 4 whole peppercorns.. 5 Tbls butter.. 5 Tbls plain flour.. Wedges of lemon to garnish.. Place the onion, carrots and asparagus in a pan with the wine until just covered.. Cover and simmer gently for about 5 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.. Take off the heat and set aside.. Make a béchamel sauce base for the soup by warming the milk  ...   separate pan, melt the butter till bubbling and then add the flour to make a roux.. Remove from the heat and strain the béchamel sauce through a sieve into the roux mixture stirring continuously until the mixture is smoothe.. Return the mixture to a gentle heat and simmer until the sauce has thickened, stirring constantly.. This should take approximately 5 minutes.. Add the fish stock and vegetable liquid to the mixture.. Add the cooked vegetables into the sauce.. Gently stir in the slow cooked abalone pieces and cook over low heat to heat through.. Ladle into warm bowls and garnish with lemon wedges.. Serve with a crusty rustic bread or brown bread..
