    Descriptive info: TYPES OF CLASSES.. We run.. Hatha Yoga.. and.. Vinyasa Flow Yoga.. classes.. Both classes concentrate on the use of the breath to move and to work into the postures.. We have Beginners, Continuation and Improvers classes.. We also run.. Prenatal Yoga classes.. for women who are at least 14+ weeks pregnant at the time of class.. Our Prenatal teacher is Cait and she has been teaching these classes for a number of years.. She is a qualified Yoga teacher and has done a further specialisation in Prenatal Yoga.. Our.. Boxalates class.. is non-contact and consists of vigorous aerobic exercises, including skipping, shadow boxing, punch bag and pads, squats, lunges and great core and flexibility exercises derived from Pilates and Yoga.. We also have.. Pilates, Pilates, High Performance Training, Sport Injury Prevention.. Yogalates classes.. and other styles of Yoga.. Please see our timetable page for more details.. Our classes and workshops include instruction in Yoga, Pilates,Yogalates, Pregnancy Yoga and Sports Injury Prevention programmes.. Our classes are accessible to a wide section of the community from young to old, flexible to inflexible.. We have discounted rates, for some of our classes, for members of the public who are currently unwaged or unemployed.. Dave has unique knowledge of specific training requirements of individuals and teams.. He has played Gaelic Football, Rugby and Soccer at club level and he has also completed triathlons to Olympic level.. He has run several marathons and half marathons and has been involved in the Outdoor Activity industry for the last number of years.. Improvers.. - For people who have previous Yoga or Pilates experience and who have a weekly Yoga or Pilates practice.. Note:..  ...   stretching and breathing exercises.. Power Yoga/ Vinyasa Flow Yoga.. Vigorous Asana (Postures) with Ujjayi breath and meditation techniques.. Prenatal Yoga.. (both 4 and 6 week series).. This series of classes helps to build strength and flexibility in mums-to-be as they learn to listen to their own body, trusting themselves enough to know instinctively what positions to adopt during labour.. This is achieved through a series of breathing techniques, visualisations, positions and postures.. Classes also provide a forum for mothers for positive discussion on specific areas around their pregnancy, labour and birth, ultimately promoting a sense of empowerment for each mother in her capacity to give birth to her baby as naturally as possible.. All exercises are modified Hatha Yoga postures and take place in a safe environment using blankets, pillows and blocks for comfort.. Note: Always check with your GP or mid-wife before starting this type of programme.. Class card does not apply..
